You need to bring a government issued photo ID. Make sure the name and date of birth on your photo ID matches the information in your steffensteffen.com exactly or you will not be allowed to test. While it’s not required, we also recommend bringing a copy of your confirmation email or letter to the exam center. Cell phones, smart watches and any other electronic devices are strictly forbidden in the testing room.
No problem! You don’t have to wait months to retake it. You can take the GED exam in each subject three times with no restrictions. After the third try, there is a 60-day waiting period before you can sit for the exam again.
Yes. You only need to retake the subjects you do not pass. The cost is USD $75 per subject.
No. There are no outside electronic devices allowed in the testing room. However, for the portions of the exam where a calculator is allowed, it is available on screen, within the test.
